Readership Institute: People Management Practices Self Survey

Welcome to the Readership Institute's (RI) People Management Practices Self Survey. The objective of the survey is to explore your newspaper's performance on selected people management issues. Employees from your paper can complete the self-assessment test online. Your paper's aggregate score will be automatically calculated and displayed.

How to Take the Self Assessment Survey

Assign an individual at your newspaper to serve as project coordinator. The coordinator should be a management level employee.
The coordinator will enter a user name and coordinator password of his/her own choosing on the login page. The coordinator password will allow him/her to view detailed results not available to everyone. (Individual respondent's results will not be visible even to coordinators.)
The coordinator will also enter a respondent password. The respondent password will allow invited individuals at the newspaper to take the survey and see overall survey results.
The coordinator will take the survey him/herself.
The coordinator will then invite other employees from the paper to take the survey.
The coordinator will provide each of the selected participants with the user name and respondent password.
The participants will take the survey using the coordinator's user name and respondent password. NOTE: Although all respondents use the same user name and password to access the test, none can see the answers submitted by any other individual.
Once the desired number of surveys is completed, the self-assessment test is complete.
