The Stanly News & Press This small North Carolina newspaper started with the basics by explaining in an eight-page pamphlet how readers could get items into the newspaper, covering everything from obits to press releases and the paper’s code of ethics. The brochure was distributed in all Sunday newspapers once, and copies are given to schools, service organizations and anyone who requests one.
